Menu Planning, Week Two

We did pretty good with our menu this past week. The only problem is that I missed putting a few ingredients on the shopping list and had to make a second trip to the store. Planning saves time because dinner is decided, shopped for, and ready to prepare.

  • Breakfast - cereal, yogurt, bananas
  • Lunch - Muffin Tin Monday
  • Dinner - Spaghetti & Sauce, broccoli with cheese
  • Breakfast - pancakes with berries
  • Lunch - Open-faced sandwich, carrot sticks
  • Dinner - Lasagna, strawberry salad
  • Breakfast - Overnight oatmeal
  • Lunch - Bento Lunch
  • Dinner - Pork Chop casserole, green beans, baked potato
  • Breakfast - Muffins, clementines
  • Lunch - Lily pads with cheese, mixed fruit
  • Dinner - Gnocchi, glazed carrots
  • Breakfast - Bagels, grapes and strawberries
  • Lunch - Turkey wraps, bananas
  • Dinner - Barbecue sandwiches, Cole slaw
  • Breakfast - Fluffy eggs, clementines
  • Lunch - PB&J cutouts, carrot sticks and cucumbers with dip
  • Dinner - Fauxfredo, apple salad
  • Breakfast - Breakfast ice cream, toast
  • Lunch - Nibble tray, pretzels

Planning and shopping complete! How is your week looking? Any healthy menu plans this week?

  1. Everything looks great! I love planning out my menus but I usually have to make a trip back also :) I found some cute bento box stuff thanks to keli over at kidnapped in suburbia. she had a great link for cheap, super cute bento box stuff.

  2. I started menu planning this year as well, it's also to try and increase our range of meals as I found we were having the same few things every single week and I was getting very bored. This week trying speedy burgers from scratch and also cod with cherry tomatos which I've never done before.

  3. English Muffin Pizzas. Buy the whole grain english muffins, a little spaghetti sauce, a slice of cheese. Microwave for 15 seconds and something the kids love that is actually good for them.
