With young active children it is best to have three main meals plus two small snacks a day. This means coming up with something healthy to eat five times a day. For some reason I seem to exhaust my ideas when it comes to snack time. Mostly I just put out a bowl of fruit or some pretzels. When we get tired of the usual we pull out one of our fun recipes and enjoy making a fun snack. Here are a few favorites:
- Banana Dogs
- Fruit Sticks (Everything tastes better on a stick)
- Homemade Applesauce
- Zucchini Cupcakes
- Peanut Butter Bread
