Cook, Little Pot, Cook

Can't have oatmeal without raisins.

Audrey helped me make porridge just like in the fairy tale about the magic pot that feeds a hungry little girl and her mother. After we read the story, found in a book called Fairy Tale Breakfasts, Audrey turned to me and said, "porridge is really oatmeal, right mom?" She is adorable. So, of course, we made oatmeal.

She is reading, don't bother her.

Audrey measured the oats and water and helped me work the microwave. I have to admit I ate the majority of the porridge and let Audrey have a girl sized pot. She requested cinnamon on top. What she really wanted was her dad's shaker of cinnamon sugar. After the milk I let her add some liberally.
