Easy in a Pot

Happy to help!
There are days around here when we leave the house in the early morning and do not return until just before dinner. Where is this mystery stay at home mom and how does she stay at home? We tend to have more play dates, get togethers, and things to do than we can keep up with. On days like today I like to have a meal ready for us when we return. After running around so much it is so nice to relax until  we are ready to eat. Our favorite come home to warm meal is Easy Pot Roast. Not only is it easy but it is budget friendly. Please, give it a try.

  1. I really wish I had my crock pot! Pot roast was always my favorite thing to cook 'cause you let it go all day and you came back to this delicious meal. Perfect!

By the way, I wish our days were as busy as yours! I've been trying to find a good playgroup since we moved but the ones I've been finding near where we live want us to pay every week for a membership! Whaaa!?

  2. How fun! I started laughing the minute I opened your blog-- LOVE the toddler with the chicken. So cute! I popped over from the 5 Minutes with Mom Blog party- I decided to start at the bottom of the list instead of the top- just to be fair :) I'm so glad I did- I will mark your blog on my 'favorites' and try to grab your button. Come visit us at Homeschool Heart when you have a minute. God bless!

  3. Hi again! I put up your button on my site- scroll down to see it. I am also highlighting your blog on mine. The link to that is here if you want to share:

Since you are highlighted, you may grab the Homeschool Heart button on our blog's right hand side (if you wish) and use it to link to the above review of IN THE KITCHEN WITH AUDREY with the words "MY BLOG HAS A HOMESCHOOL HEART". Featured blogs will be "Tweeted" (@HomeschoolHeart) and "Facebooked" (!/pages/Stories-for-the-Homeschool-Heart/112387948799115 )

    Have a great day! Theresa

  4. I'm here from the UBP and I clicked over because I love the name Audrey. haha! (I keep trying to push Audrey/Aubrey on my husband if we have a girl someday but currently he's not budging.) This site is such a neat concept! That pic of your daughter with the chicken on your header is priceless! Have a great day. :)

  5. Hi, Stopped over from the UBP. Your blog is wonderful. I love to cook and am always looking for ways to incorporate my toddler. Thanks for sharing!

Audrey wants to hear from you!
