Tomato and Pesto Basil Pasta
- 2 cups uncooked noddles (we used penne)
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup basil pesto
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Cook pasta according to package directions. Add tomato sauce and pesto to a small sauce pan. Heat on low until warmed, about 15 to 20 minutes. We added a little grated carrot and chopped onion to the pasta sauce when we made it so it had a few extra vegetables in it. Drain pasta and toss with warmed sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Enjoy with fruit and a spinach salad or roasted broccoli.
