December 17 Strawberry Salad

This green salad topped with strawberries, feta, walnuts, and red onion is a paternal family favorite. It is served at almost every family gathering. We all enjoy it and it is so easy to prepare; maybe why we fix it so often. This is actually the first meal Audrey was able to assist with when her grandparents started cooking with her. We have posted this to the blog before but I was not able to locate the recipe. First the recipe and then the adorable pictures:

  • mixed greens, washed and torn
  • strawberries, hulled and cut in half
  • walnuts, toasted
  • feta cheese
  • red onion, diced
  • Brianna's Blush Wine Vinegrette
There is no real recipe for this, just add ingredients to your liking.

Audrey's Tasks:
  1. Tear lettuce
  2. Cut strawberries
  3. Add ingredients
Mom's Tasks:
  1. Gather ingredients
  2. Toast walnuts
  3. Dice onion
  4. Assist Audrey

  1. Very cute! And looks yummy, too! I do a lot of baking with my girls - they've been helping me in the kitchen since they were really little.

  2. Wow cute! Follower from Monday Mingle. See you back...

  3. Awesome! My little ones love to cook with me to. So much fun isn't it!? This looks so yummy to.

Hoppin by from the Mystery Post Blog Hop on Mommy D;s Kitchen. Thanks for Hoppin!

  4. Mmm...that looks so good. Love strawberries in salad.

Finally making the rounds from Mommy Ds Mystery Post Hop.

  5. This is priceless, I always loved teaching my boys in the kitchen when they were little

  6. I get so much encouragement from friends, family, and from Audrey. She has been making this salad for over a year (the video was from 21 months) and she still loves to make it.

Audrey wants to hear from you!
