What's for Lunch Wednesday, Banana Dogs

Lunches have not gotten better but I have decided it is alright to have plain looking meals as long as the girls like them. Any time I am able I have Audrey help me pack them so they are not going to get prettier any time soon. Banana Sandwiches.
Happy banana dogs

Check out all of the other fun lunches at What's For Lunch Wednesday.

  1. I completely agree with you about there being nothing wrong with plain looking meals - there whole point is to ensure your kids are getting the healthiest meal possible, right? My middle kiddo is actually starting to turn his nose at "cute" lunches!

  2. Hey, you rocked it with the "hot dog" sandwich!

The problem I'm having -- besides the lack of creativity in my lunches -- is that my little guy, who just started kindergarten, is so excited and chatty during lunch that the 20 minutes flies by and he runs out of time to eat. So maybe it's not a bad thing that I'm not being creative -- it would go to waste, anyhow!

  3. OMG I used to love banana sami's! How could I have forgotten about them? I will defiantly be introducing the girls to them soon, thanks for the reminder. Happy WFLW :)

  4. Love it! I can't stand regular hot dogs--this rocks. How about with nutella?

  6. Hi, visiting you here from the Blog Frog at RedHead Riter's community. Teaching children to cook at a young age is a very smart idea!

  7. Nutella sounds perfect. I will save that for days when they eat at home. The little one likes to lick the nutella off the bread. She can get a little messy.
