Salad On A Stick

Salad, On A Stick! Everything taste better on a stick so Audrey and I made a boring meal fun with great marketing and a good dip. I helped her mix equal parts of ranch dressing and yogurt to dip her salad. She actually ate several bites of these vegetables on a stick which is unheard of because it is green and healthy. Never underestimate the power of marketing. Here she is making her salad:

You have to be careful with the sticks

All done!
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Firm lettuce (romaine or iceberg work well)
  • Cucumbers
  • Sweet pepper
Help your young assistant chop or tear all vegetables. Place on a plate or cookie sheet along with bamboo sticks. Let your helper skewer vegetables. Then mix equal parts low-fat plain yogurt and ranch dressing. Serve as a side dish, appetizer, or snack.
