Tip of the Day August 8

Black Bean Brownies are always a hit at Audrey's house. They are so simple to make; use the food processor which Audrey loves; and are gluten free for our friends who have gluten intolerance. We liked them so much we shared with our play group and now some of the other mothers bake them as well. I try to keep at least one can of black beans on hand so we can whip up a batch of these when ever the mood strikes us. Before you decide you could not possibly like brownies made with black beans, try them. You could make it your Green Eggs and Ham.

  1. BBBs rock! I made black bean salsa today and Detroit told me he only eats black beans in brownies. I hate to correct him, he eats black beans in a lot of things. You'd just never know it the way they take on the flavors of the spices/food around them.
