Tip of the Day August 18
Another favorite muffin recipe is Carrot Applesauce. If you pair one with a berry and grape yogurt parfait you can have a rainbow for breakfast or a light lunch. We are starting to focus on better eating habits now that Audrey has become a little more receptive to new tastes. She still does not always consume her rainbow but she is at least tasting it when we include her in putting the meal together. Along with our wonderful Eat a Rainbow kit from the Today I Ate A Rainbow website we have been reading about too much junk food for the Berenstain Bears and Charlie and Lola's book I Will Never Not Ever Eat a Tomato. And I found a great cookbook and nutrition guide called 7-Color Cuisine. It promises to be a month of change for us in September. Check back to see how we do.
