Baking with children can be a lot of fun. Especially if you skip the time consuming parts and go straight for the decorations. Audrey's Danya (grandma) shared this post with me from a visit this past May. We made sugar cookie dough but you can buy a tube at the store. After spreading the dough into a 13 x 9 pan we baked it until golden brown. Before it cooled completely we took cookie cutters and cut out the shapes we wanted to have in our cookie scape. We took purchased frosting and tinted it several different colors and frosted our design together. Audrey does really well at frosting if you give her a small spatula and guide her to spread to the edge. She had a blast with this design and kept going back to ask for another flower. If memory serves me I believe her Papa had several sections of this masterpiece.
