Tip of the Day July 9
One thing I have learned while cooking with Audrey is that presentation is everything. She likes her cheese cut into flowers and her sandwiches one of the many shapes we have in the cabinet. I have been able to get her to eat an otherwise plain meat or cheese sandwich by simply cutting it into a dinosaur. Some days I find this tactic preferable to worrying about how much protein she is getting or whether she has had any dairy that day. Here is a healthy meal we fixed a while back that showcases my thoughts on this matter. What do you think? Have you made changes to a meal to make it more palatable to a young child? I would love to hear some other tips.
