Japanese Cabbage Pizza

Continuing with the pizza theme Audrey helped me make Japanese Cabbage Pizza. We had some vegetables about to go bad and a lot of cabbage from our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), Mellowfield Farm. Audrey did not get to help as much as she usually does but that was alright with her. She got to crack the eggs, all by herself. Do not forget to enter our Curious Chef Pizza Kit giveaway!
Japanese Pizza

  • 2 cups cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 cup chopped vegetables
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
Mix vegetables with flour until coated. Add eggs and mix well. Press into small patties and cook in oil. OR make one large pizza and cook in a pan over medium heat.

Audrey's Tasks:
  1. Mix vegetables with flour
  2. Crack eggs
  3. Mix
Mom's Tasks:
  1. Chop vegetables
  2. Gather ingredients
  3. Fry pizzas
I am learning that sometimes Audrey just wants to do the fun part and then go back to annoying playing with her sister. This was one of those times. Try to find small ways to include your children. Even if it is just cracking the eggs.

Audrey wants to hear from you!
